Art and Color 365, a bi-monthly print and digital art magazine, announces its 2026 Artist's Choice Competition. Artwork by the winners and award recipients in the competition will be featured in our Spring issue, publishing in May 2026. Entries must be submitted to Art and Color 365 by the following deadlines:
EXTENDED FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: $32 USD entry fee
Sunday, March 22, 2026, 11:59 p.m., applicant’s local time.
Artist's Choice Theme: Artists may submit artwork of any subject matter and in any artistic style created with any two-dimensional media, i.e. oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, graphite, pencil, colored pencils, charcoal, inks, etc. No photography. No AI.
Prizes
1st Place:
• Wins $250 cash award;
• Receives a six-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing their artwork. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com;
• Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s Magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
• Social media promotion in the form of individualized posts, stories and reels;
• Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines;
• Receives a digital award certificate;
• Receives a free 6-issue digital subscription to Art and Color 365 magazine beginning with the issue in which their feature story appears.
2nd Place:
• Receives a four-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing their artwork. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com.
• Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s Magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
• Social media promotion in the form of individualized posts, stories and reels
• Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines;

3rd Place:

• Receives a digital award certificate.
• Receives a free digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine in which their art appears.
Artistic Recognition and Honorable Mention Recipients:
• Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s Magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
• Receives a digital award certificate;
• Inclusion in our social media stories and reels for the competition.

All works must be original. “Original” means that the work must be created from the hand of a single artist and not be taken from other artists’ work or materials for which you do not hold the copyright. Artwork subjects and compositions may not be derived from other artists’ artwork or from artwork published in print or online. Copying another artist’s work or digitally drawing on top of another person’s photography or artwork does not qualify as original art. No AI artwork, no AI-assisted artwork, and no photo app artwork, please.
